Roxy Jacenko shares an update on daughter Pixie Curtis after her hospitalisation.

Roxy Jacenko’s five-year-old daughter, Pixie Curtis, was hospitalised due to severe abdominal pain.

On Monday, the Sweaty Betty PR founder posted a photo to Instagram of Pixie undergoing an ultrasound. The caption read: “Life certainly never runs to plan – what timing. Such a brave little @pixiecurtis”.

Pixie has since been released from the hospital and the family is waiting for results from the ultrasound and an x-ray.

“UPDATE – thanks for the lovely messages, Pix is resting at home waiting for more info on what the problem is,” Jacenko updated her fans on the post.

A Sweaty Betty PR representative told the Daily Mail Pixie had been “doubled over with abdominal pain” since Friday, so Roxy took her to the Sydney Children’s Hospital on Sunday.

On Tuesday, the 37-year-old posted a video of Pixie and her little brother, Hunter, playing together.

She captioned the post: Loves of my life. So happy to see my @pixiecurtis on her way to being better and with a smile @huntercurtis14 – doing what I do for these two and their future”.

Pixie’s hospitalisation comes just days before Jacenko’s husband, Oliver Curtis, is due to be released from jail.

Curtis was jailed for insider trading in July 2016 and he will be reunited with his family on Friday.
