The model-turned-actress revealed the split in a news statement, telling the media, “after several months of reflection we have decided to separate”.

“We have shared ten wonderful years together. We will always be supportive of one another. We are, and always will be, a family.”

The news was circulated by a Miller’s representative just hours before the first bounce of the AFL Grand Final.

Having met through mutual friends, Pia gave birth to the couple’s first child Lennox in 2006. The two married in December 2007, with Brad becoming step-father to Pia’s son Isaiah, whom she has from a relationship when she was 19.

With Pia living in Sydney due to her Home and Away commitments and Brad living in his home city Melbourne, the two have lived in separate states for more than a year.

While originally based in Melbourne herself, Pia made the move to Sydney to shoot Home And Away when she joined the cast as police officer Katarina Chapman in August 2014.

Lennox and Isaiah have been commuting between Melbourne and Sydney to spend time with both their mother and father.

Chilean born Pia added that the couple’s living arrangements will change however, with Brad planning to relocate to Sydney “so that we can continue to co-parent the children together”.
