A photo of fairies? Show this to your kids and let them decide.

Are there fairies at the bottom of your garden? Show these pics to your kids and send them out looking…

We all believed in fairies when we were little. We believed in fairies, Smurfs that lived under mushrooms and unicorns. We’d never seen them in real life but we just knew they were out there, somewhere, waiting to be discovered.

Most of us let go of those fantasies as we reached our teenage years but a university professor in the UK has us questioning our adult disbelief with a photo that he insists proves fairies are real.

John Hyatt is either pulling our leg or he has captured a magical moment that will have us all believing. The 53-year-old Director of Manchester Institute for Research and Innovation in Art and Design was taking photos of his local landscape. It was when he enlarged a shot that he says he saw the most amazing thing.

“It was a bit of a shock when I blew them up, I did a double take. I went out afterwards and took pictures of flies and gnats and they just don’t look the same. People can decide for themselves what they are.”

The photo allegedly proving that fairies are real

So, what do you think?

He says he isn't up to him to convince the world that fairies are real, but he does ask us to look at his photo with an open mind.

“The message to people is to approach them with an open mind. I don’t believe they are just smaller versions of us and go home and have a cup of tea at the end of the day.”

Pictures proving fairies are real have popped up over the internet for years. CLICK THROUGH these photos and tell us what you think. Will you be showing them to your kids?
