Morning after pill doesn't work on heavy women? You won't believe these reactions

After being caught by a University study, the morning after pills’ manufacturers in Europe have admitted that the pill doesn’t work for women who are more than 80kg and starts to lose efficacy at 75kg.

That’s significant because, according to the Australian Bureau of Statistics, the average woman weighs just over 70kg.

Packaging is being changed immediately in Europe to inform women of this issue.

So, are people outraged that this wasn’t tested in the first place? Are they demanding to know if companies are going to create a pill that works for the majority of women? Of course not; they are too busy being abjectly size-ist, classist and racist.

Allow me to provide answers to these wayward confused souls:

One US commenter wrote: “I assumed weighing 176lbs. or more, was birth control enough?…..Oooooooo…right….the African American community.”

We all know what assuming does, except really you’re just making an arse out of you. I will never understand how people can still say that racism isn’t a problem. Just look at internet comments.

“Fat chicks, eat better and exercise (and that doesn’t mean just walking) and drop some weight or don’t have sex. The pill not working on fat women is God’s way of saying fat chicks should not be having sex.”

Stop the logic train, we had somebody fall off. Were it a message from some deity, the morning after pill not working on fat women would indicate that the deity desires that we get pregnant. In truth I think that this is not at all about any god and completely about poorly designed pharmaceuticals and poorly thought out comments.

“Aspirin works as birth control…All the woman has to do is place one between their knees and keep it there.”

The 1940’s called, they want their advice back. Those of us having a modern discussion of family planning will be right over here.

“80kg ??? I just threw up a little in my mouth.”

Thanks for proving that the fact that you can manage to submit a comment doesn’t mean that you should. Next time you have a thought, maybe just let it go.

“How many chicks over 165 get banged?”

A lot. Speaking of, gotta go…
