Stop. You've been doing these 3 things wrong your whole life.

We bring you 3 super-simple life hacks to make things that little bit easier.

Peeling an orange – you’ve been doing it wrong.

Grab your orange and cut off the top and the bottom.

Slice down the side.

And simply unroll the orange (like above).

Putting a key on a key ring.

This has to be one of the best things we’ve ever seen. Go out and get yourself a staple remover right now.

Many a nail has been broken on the quest to getting a key onto a key ring.

1. Here we have your regular culprit – a key, alongside a tool whose inverter you will soon be praising. The staple remover. (Who would’ve thought they could have a better purpose than actually removing staples.)

2. Carefully ease apart the ring using the magical staple remover.

3. Slide the key onto the ring and remove the staple remover whilst still keeping your nails in tact. Who would’ve thought that was possible?

The ultimate stain remover.

Having a great day until all of a sudden you or “that friend” spills something on your favourite shirt?

We have the solution. It’s the only spot remover you will ever need!

Ingredients
1 part dishwashing liquid
2 parts hydrogen peroxide
1-2 tablespoons baking soda

Instructions

1. Mix the 3 ingredients together in a small bowl. Just mix up a small amount each time you have a few stains to treat because the hydrogen peroxide may become less effective when exposed to light.

2. Use a small brush to scrub the mixture into the stained area. An old toothbrush is good to use. Then rinse and wash as usual.

3. For tough stains, you can let the mixture sit on the garment for an hour or so, then wash as usual. Or treat the area a few times before washing. This often even works on old stains that have even already been set!

4. For those old stains, let it sit for a few minutes after the first treatment, rinse, then treat it again and let it sit for another little while. After washing as normal, the stain should be completely gone!

*We recommend trying the concoction on a piece of the garment first to make sure that the spot remover will not harm the fabric.
