New mum, Olivia Wilde, opens up about how being a mum is a part of her now.
“It feels like Otis should always be on my breast.”
That is how actress, Olivia Wilde, sees life as a new mum. She is on the cover of the September issue of Glamour Magazine and, for an actress who is pretty private, opens up about her life.
While we think she looks gorgeous on the cover and inside photo shoot, there is one photo that is causing the internet to meltdown. And that photo is of her breastfeeding her 5-month-old son Otis (coinciding with World Breastfeeding Week).
Olivia later tweeted the photo explaining that although Otis "ordered milkshakes", he also decided to pee on her. She also confessed that she doesn't always look like this while breastfeeding.
"You can be someone who is at once maternal and professional and sexy and self-possessed. [But] I mean, I certainly don't really look like that when I'm [typically] breastfeeding. And there's usually a diaper involved."
Olivia also talked about how the photo shoot wouldn't have felt complete if Otis wasn't featured. "Being shot with Otis is so perfect because any portrait of me right now isn't complete without my identity as a mother being a part of that. Breastfeeding is the most natural thing. I don't know, now it feels like Otis should always be on my breast."
