Drop everything: You can watch the first episode of Offspring early.

It’s been two years since Offspring disappeared from Australian television screens and, frankly, we can’t wait to find out what our favourite obstetrician’s been upto this whole time.

Nina Proudman and her dysfunctional family will be officially back on the air on next Wednesday night, but there’s a way you can watch new episode as early as Monday morning at 9am. If you’re fast, that is.

Yes, Channel 10 are giving 30,000 viewers the chance to watch the premiere, which picks up 18 months after the end of Season five, more than 48 hours ahead of time, but before you call in sick, there’s a couple of things you need to do. Well, one thing.

All you need to do is register on the tenplay website, here.

“We know just how much fans of Offspring have wanted their show back on air, and it’s that genuine excitement that has helped make all this a possibility,” Network Ten Head of Drama, Rick Maier, said.

“It seems only fair we acknowledge just how important the audience is with a sneak peek for the true believers. It’s a real privilege to see Nina and the gang back on Ten, and we hope you enjoy the start of this brand new season as much as we do.”

Go on then, make your friends jealous.

And if you miss out, don’t worry, the whole thing will be streaming live from Wednesday at 8.30pm and in the meantime you can fill the void by re-watching Season five here.
