Don’t you hate it when someone takes a photo of you and an inconveniently-placed shadow makes it look like you’ve flashed a nipple?
…Oh? Hasn’t happened to you? Well, spare a thought for The Bachelor‘s Nikki Gogan then.
On Sunday night, here on Mamamia, we shared to a link to a story about the reality show contestant on our Facebook page:
This in itself was nothing out of the ordinary, but we quickly noticed a curious phenomenon in the comments section.
Many thought that Nikki has accidentally exposed her nipple while receiving a rose from Richie — and you were a little scandalised by it.
But was quickly deduced that, no, it wasn't a nipple. Yet the conversation didn't stop there; the comments provided some fascinating theories as to what had created the optical illusion.
"Pretty sure it's the shadow from the rose," one commenter posted.
"It could be a bandaid? Trying to cover the nipple," another suggested.

For what it's worth, we agree it's the rose's wandering shadow.

Regardless of the outcome, we hope nobody suffers an actual nip slip. (Though that would make for a memorable finale, wouldn't it...?)
