Every single TV show and movie that's dropping on Netflix Australia in April 2020.

I think we can all agree that April will be a month of movies and television.

As we all head inside to self-isolate and help stop the spread of COVID-19, there will be plenty of time to watch films and TV shows that we haven’t gotten around to.

And this month we are in luck. Netflix Australia is giving us movies. Lots of movies. Including rom-coms, like Crazy, Stupid Love and How to Lose A Guy In 10 Days, as well as classic comedies, such as the American Pie franchise.

Listen to Mamamia’s daily entertainment podcast, The Spill, where hosts Laura Brodnik and Kee Reece discuss all things entertainment and pop culture. Post continues below.

So to get you ready for a month of binging, here are our top three picks as well as everything else coming to Netflix Australia in April 2020.

Never Have I Ever

Netflix has just announced their newest TV coming of age TV series, Never Have I Ever.

The series follows Devi Vishwakumar, a Hindu girl from the San Fernando Valley, and is based on the real childhood of American comedian and actress, Mindy Kaling.

Kaling held a nationwide callout to cast the central role and landed on 17-year-old Maitreyi Ramakrishnan.

We have a feeling that after episode one, we’ll be hooked.

The show stars many familiar faces, including actor and singer Childish Gambino, Mad Men/Glow star Alison Brie, and Chevy Chase.

Chris D'Elia: No Pain

If you enjoyed the psychological thriller You and also have a thing for stand up comedy, then this Netflix special is for you.

American comedian Chris D'Elia, who played Henderson (the comedian, how fitting) in the second season of You, is bringing his latest comedy show to Netflix on April 14.
