Famous men are wearing nail polish on one finger for a very important reason.

Low-level celebrity stalkers might have noticed something odd about the famous men in their social media feeds lately.

All of a sudden, a number of the blokes are sporting a touch of polish on one of their finger nails. Yep. Just one.

Far from being some bizarre Avante-Garde fashion trend, the colourful statement is designed to help raise awareness for the fact that one in five children around the world will suffer physical or sexual violence by the time they’re 18.

The cause, run by the YGAP organisation, is called #PolishedMan, and everyone from the Hemsworth brothers to Kyle Sandilands have jumped on board.
