We'd never expect to find this under the floor during a home reno.

When this home-owner ripped up his carpet, the last thing he expected was to go directly to jail.

Or collect $200 from passing “Go”.

Reddit user Nnewel was doing some DIY renovation when he discovered a gigantic Monopoly board painted onto the floorboards of his house.

“Pulled up the carpet at the house, and guess what I found!” he posted online, along with some snaps of the home-made game board.

The Monopoly set, which stretched all the way around the room, featured the traditional “Go”, “Jail” and "Free Parking" spaces, as well as the differently-coloured properties.

A busty female silhouette in stiletto heels was presumably meant to represent "Community Chest" square.

Comments and suggestions flooded in for Nnewel, including recommedations he should check elsewhere in the house for more surprises:

And even suggestions for more plus-sized board games, although the flaws of a giant Twitter mat were quickly pointed out:

The unique find even prompted another Reddit user to (over) share their Monopoly experience.
