She’s been in the public spotlight for her controversial anti-vax views, and now it seems Jenny McCarthy’s son, Evan, is doing some parenting of his own.
Ethan called the police on his celebrity mum for texting and driving.
Jenny’s 12-year-old son called the police to report his mum was texting and driving. The View co-host said her son, who has autism, is a “rule follower” and has nearly got her in trouble with the law before.
Talking on her new radio show Sirius, Jen said, “We’re driving in the car and of course I text and drive. He called the police on me and said, ‘My mum is texting and driving right now.’ True story.”
On another occasion, Jenny tried to sneak out of the house for a cigarette and Evan thought he had been abandoned.
“He called 911 and said, ‘I am alone in the house. My mum abandoned me. I go back in the house and it’s 911 and they’re like, ‘Your child just called. Is there an emergency?’ I’m like, ‘What? No! Everything is fine.’”
Evan is the son Jenny and her ex-husband, former manager Ray Manzella. The pair divorced in 2005, the same year that Evan was diagnosed with Autism.
