This could be the most confusing off-on-off again celebrity friendship we’ve seen since Katy Perry and Rihanna.
Photos released over the long weekend suggested the on-air rivalry between My Kitchen Rules‘ twins, Vikki and Helena, and well-travelled gourmet buddies Chloe and Kelly was nothing but a beat-up for ratings.
were pictured out on the town togetherThe photos, which were shared on social media and then suspiciously removed, were full of smiles and hugs and looked like those of any other gal pals spending a night out together.
However, now we're hearing that all is not as chummy as it seems - the twins insist the rivalry is still very much alive, in case you were concerned and/or confused.
"Look, we were out for a couple of drinks for some work and, yeah, you know, we had some drinks, took some photos," Vikki, 25, told Sunrise.
"But the rivalry's still on, trust me."
If that's the case, ladies, enough with the games: we want some solid, unquestionable evidence that you are indeed foes. If there's a Twins vs. Gourmet Travellers finale next Tuesday night, which there could well be, we're expecting nothing less than death glares, ridiculous assessments of dishes, passive-aggressive jibes and then a full-on food fight across the kitchen.
Now THAT will be worth watching.
