My Kitchen Rules contestant Laura Skvor has revealed she went through a break-up while filming the show.
The 19-year-old broke up with her boyfriend of four months, Matt, while filming the first round of Instant Restaurants during My Kitchen Rules.
Laura, who stars in the show alongside her brother, also put university on hold for the show.
The reality star told TV Week she felt like they "were drifting apart".
"I was really sad and I knew it was hurting him," she said.
But being on the show didn't seem to be the problem.
"He was really supportive but was nervous for me,' Laura said.
"He didn't want to lose me because of the whole TV thing and in the end, that's pretty much what happened." she said.
The short lived romance fizzled out while things heated up on set.
Laura and her brother Mitch wowed judges during their latest challenge.
The pair cooked sous vide lamb with crispy brains and caramelised onion puree on Sunday night's show.
The sibling team are the youngest ever contestants on the show.
