Two men arrested after woman allegedly kidnapped at Bondi Junction shopping centre.

Police have arrested two men after a woman was allegedly kidnapped outside a shopping centre at Bondi Junction yesterday afternoon.

Officers were told a woman was allegedly assaulted by a man before being forced into a white van which then left the centre in Sydney’s eastern suburbs about 3.00pm.

Police who were patrolling along Parramatta Road, Camperdown about 12.30am this morning were alerted to the presence of a Toyota Hiace van allegedly used in the abduction.

The car was stopped on Derby Place, Glebe and police took the driver, a 42-year-old man, his passenger, a 28-year-old man and the 35-year-old woman who was allegedly kidnapped to Newtown Police Station.

The woman, who police identified yesterday as Elizabeth Bell, was not injured.

After reports of the alleged kidnapping police made a public appeal to help locate Ms Bell, saying they had “significant concerns” for her.
