Just months after rumours that billionaire businessman James Packer was getting it on with Miranda Kerr, he’s described his personal life as disastrous.
It’s either a veiled reference to Miranda. Or not about Miranda at all. We can’t decide.
“Business is good right now, but my personal life is a disaster,” Packer, 46, said in an interview with Forbes.
He continued: “I had a marriage breakdown last year… The last thing I think I am is perfect. I’m just trying to do the best job I can. I’m trying to be the best father I can to my kids. I’m trying to do the best job I can running my business.”
If James and Miranda were dating, that’s not exactly a declaration of love…
Packer and 30-year-old Kerr were rumoured to be dating late last year following their respective marriage breakdowns: Packer, from his wife Erica in September, and Kerr from Orlando Bloom in October.
The two have been friend for years: they first holidayed together with their families in May 2012, and Packer is said to have given Kerr business advice when she launched her beauty products line in 2009.
Woman’s Day first broke news of their romance in early December 2013, although representatives of both have refused to confirm nor deny the reports.
Since their separation, Kerr has also been linked to actor Gerard Butler, while Bloom was spotted canoodling with an unidentified brunette at a London club last month.
