Mila tells Ellen her birth plans.

A very private star shares some very personal hopes for her baby with our favourite talk-show host.

Mila Kunis has finally confirmed what we already knew – that she’s expecting her first child with fiance Ashton Kutcher.

During an appearance on The Ellen Show, the Oz: The Great and Powerful star was coy about the baby’s due date and gender, but was happy to reveal she’s planning to have a “natural birth” and to give an epidural the flick.

When Ellen asked if she was planning to give birth at home, Mila replied: “We thought about it. We watched a couple of documentaries and we looked into the like the midwife aspect of it and things and spoke to my OB/GYN and realised that the hospital that I’m going to be laboring in does a … doula type of thing, and so I’m gonna do it as all natural as I possibly can unless that there’s an emergency or something that should wrong.”

On the topic of epidurals, she added: "I'm crazy. I mean, I did this to myself—I might as well do it right. I wanted this. It's like, no one made me do this."

The Ukrainian actress also revealed she's been experiencing some "goofy" cravings - namely pickles and sauerkraut.

"This is the worst craving to have because sauerkraut smells and so every time you open up a jar it just reeks in the whole kitchen," she said.

"It's not like ice cream where everything smells lovely."

Ellen, who conveniently had some pickles on hand for the episode, thought Mila's desire for vinegar-based foods was an indication she was carrying a baby boy.

"Interesting. Okay," the mum-to-be smiled.
