Melissa McCarthy is one of those celebrities you imagine you’d be best friends with in real life. You know, if you were to ever meet in person. We get the impression (again, because we are yet to meet) that she’s just like us.
She also, despite reaching peak levels of stardom since she started out as Sookie in Gilmore Girls, submits to the hairdresser. See? She’s just like us. She lets her Italian hairdresser, Renato Campora, do whatever he likes with the hair on her famous head.
“He could have been saying, ‘Yes, we’re going to pluck it all out,’ and I would have been like, ‘That sounds great, Renato!’” McCarthy told People magazine.
The difference between McCarthy and us, regular folk? She (presumably) didn’t numbly nod her head before bursting into tears in the car, because her new fringe looks awesome.
