The unexpected friendships to come out of Married At First Sight.

Although they went onto the show to find lasting love, many of the Married At First Sight stars have walked away with something else – mates for life.

The social media accounts of this year’s participants are full of happy snaps of beach reunions, boozy nights out and tales of getting the old gang back together.

There’s one person noticeably missing from the happy snaps and that’s twice jilted bride Cheryl Maitland. However, the 25-year-old has made it clear that she’s moved on, posting a pic of her new boyfriend to Instagram with the hashtag ‘Thank God he didn’t pull out his guitar’.
