Mariah Carey only eats two foods and we're a little sick just thinking about it.

If all you want for Christmas is a body like Mariah Carey, you might want to swing by Coles on your way home.

The 47-year-old diva has revealed that the diet she follows is so strict she can only eat two foods.

Norweigian salmon and capers.

Carey told E! News the extreme level of restriction was difficult to maintain during publicity rounds for her new show Mariah’s World.

The Binge hosts Laura Brodnik and Rosie Waterland discuss all the crazy things Mariah gets up to on her new show.

“It’s really hard. My diet, you would hate it,” Mariah said.

“All you eat is Norwegian salmon and capers every day. That’s it.”

Carey went on to reveal the idea behind the diet was to ensure she was only filling her body with proteins.

“I try to stick with the proteins. It’s the worst,” she said.

Salmon is also an excellent source of Omega 3, good fats and particularly bad breath.

The Binge host Laura Brodnik said Mariah’s new TV series will provide audiences with an insight into the period before she split with mogul James Packer.

“She shot the show while engaged to James Packer, leading up to their wedding, and we get to see where she’s trying on wedding dresses, their kids are meeting and he’s in the show,” Laura said.

“We’re actually going to watch it unfold. We’re going to watch them be together knowing it ends.”

The We Belong Together songstress told Oprah in 2008 her fridge was full of items such as vegetable soup, blueberries, strawberries and some swordfish.

Carey also said she was allowed to eat as much vegetable soup as she liked as it wouldn't cause her to gain a pound.

I once tried this and all it did was make my stomach bloat and my bathroom trips more frequent. So just be wary about following Mariah's diet tips.

Mariah's World is set to screen on Sunday December 4 on American channel E! News.
