Marco Pierre White Jr confirms split from fiancée after having sex on Big Brother.

In news that may not surprise anyone, former Big Brother contestant Marco Pierre White Junior has confirmed he has split with his fiancee Kim Melville-Smith.

Speaking to This Morning on Monday, the 21-year-old said the two split after what was a very public misunderstanding about what a ‘hall pass’ actually entailed.

“The arrangement we had I was given a hall pass for BB. I was given a free pass to do anything I wanted… Maybe I did push it to far,” he told the program.

Marco made headlines for his relatively outlandish behaviour on the show, and for having sex with a fellow contestant despite having a fiancé waiting at home for him.

When the fashion designer got wind of Marco’s antics on the show, she vehemently denied that ‘hall pass’ was the same thing as an ‘open relationship’, tweeting her distaste for his actions by writing, “Fyi I said #hallpass NOT open relationship. I don’t watch bb, but I heard this today. Worst thing, I can’t even talk to him.”

Despite the split, Marco says he is still in contact with his 36-year-old ex-fiancé, and hinted he is still holding out hope that perhaps the two will be reunited at some point.

"I'm in contact with her now. We'll see how it goes. Just be friends for the moment," he said.

He also added that although he is disappointed at the fall out from his actions, he did not "regret" what happened in the house.

"I think Kim's a great person. I don't regret what I did. I shouldn't have done what I did.

"I don't regret anything to do with Laura. I feel guilty. I feel bad. I knew she (Kim) was watching. In the Big Brother house, you do forget sometimes."

When probed by one of the co-hosts, Phillip Schofield, during his time on the show about whether the couple were engaged too fast (just months after dating and weeks before he entered the house), Marco admitted he may have rushed into things a little bit.

"Yes I do (get engaged too fast). I don't know why I keep doing it.

"It moved so fast with Kim. She's an amazing person. What I had with her I haven't had with a lot of other people."

It is Marco's second engagement this year,having previously been engaged to commodity broker Jessica Hydleman, who he split from in March.
