The nervous giggle that punctuates the end of every sentence Luke McGregor utters is an indication that the comedian doesn’t always feel super-comfortable.
In fact, his whole schtick is his sheer awkwardness, his overeager smile, his complete lack of confidence. And he feels especially angsty-ridden when it comes to sex.
Which is why seeing him in a nudist resort is somewhat incongruous.
McGregor is exploring sex and our (and his) hang-ups about it in his new six-part ABC series Luke Warm Sex.
Along the way, he takes a kissing class, does a pelvis-to-pelvis Tibetan ritual, and talks about sex with his own parents *shudder*.
McGregor’s inept approach to sex appeals to the artless virgin in us all, and in a way, his discomfort kind of makes us feel better about our own sexual insecurities. Thanks Luke!
