A little spoiler for next year's Married At First Sight was dropped on the Logies red carpet.

For everything on the Logies 2018, the Logies red carpet, your 2018 TV Logie awards winners and all the 2018 TV Week Logies behind-the-scenes goss, visit our Logies 2018 homepage.

It’s Logies night on the Gold Coast and all your favourite TV stars are officially sitting in their assigned seats, eating what we can only imagine is a mediocre dinner.

Asher Keddie. Carrie Bickmore. Miranda Tapsell. Hamish and Andy. And… the ‘experts’ from Married At First Sight?

Yep, they’re there too, and they may have just dropped a big ole spoiler for what we can expect from the next season of MAFS.

Dr Trisha Stratford, John Aiken and Mel Schilling walked the red carpet at The Star and stopped to chat to 9Honey’s Shelly Horton about what we can expect from 2019’s season of the reality TV dating show.

You can watch their interview in the video below. Post continues after video.

“It’s going to be bigger, the characters might be a little more extreme,” Atkin said. Groundbreaking.

Dr Stratford added, “You can rest assured we’re going to have big personalities and a bit of diversity that’s going to be a bit controversial.”

We’re not sure how the characters could be more extreme than last season’s (Davina, Nasser, Dean, Tracey… anyone?), but alright.

Then came some honest advice from Schilling for anyone thinking of going on the show to find the love of their life.

“I’d say toughen up, you’ve got to be resilient, you’ve gotta know yourself pretty well and ask yourself, are you tough enough?” she said.

Because love is hard work, guys. Especially when you kind of hate the person ‘experts’ paired you up with.

Until next year.
