Two ridiculously famous women get naked for animal welfare.

Famous people are getting their kit off for animal welfare. Again.

A 90-foot billboard of singer, Pink, has appeared in Times Square to protest the wearing of fur, on the eve of New York Fashion Week.

The ad was erected by PETA as part of their ‘I would rather go naked than wear fur’ campaign.

Pink is the face and body of the campaign, posing in the buff for prominent celebrity and fashion photographer, Ruven Afanador.

In a statement to E! News, Pink, 35, told of her long-time anti-fur lifestyle.

“I would like to say I’ve always been fur-free,” she said.

“Unfortunately, I went through a selfish phase and wore fur on a couple of occasions. But I wised up and now boycott fur completely. I wish everyone was forced to learn the horrors that these animals go through for fashion trends. I hope fur-wearers get bitten in the ass by the same kind of animal they wear on their back.”

Previous celebs who have fronted the campaign include Khloe Kardashian, Eva Mendes and Playboy bunny Holly Madison.

Pink isn’t the only celeb going nude for the cause.

Helena Bonham Carter has also stripped bare and posed with a tuna fish for the Blue Marine Foundation, which works with marine parks to protect endangered species around the world.

The Daily Mail has reported, the actress conquered her fear of fish to pose with the BigEye Tuna.

But is the tuna real? Helena Bonham Carter posing for the Blue Marine Foundation.

“I am a big supporter of protecting the marine environment”, she said.

“I’m actually very phobic about fish so when Greta (Saacthi) asked me to be photographed naked with a 27kg tuna I was more worried about touching it than getting my kit off.”

The ultimate question remains: were any animals harmed during the making of this ad?
