Legacy - and how you can help

With a little innovation and a touch of imagination Telstra  are trying to help Legacy reach out to a new generation of supporters to raise much needed money for the families of our fallen troops this Legacy Week.

The Legacy Songs Badge is more than just a badge. It’s a collection of songs dedicated to fallen Australian servicemen and women. It proudly features music donated by The Herd, Jimmy Barnes, Art vs. Science, Boy & Bear and Powderfinger.

It is a great example of how collaboration, technology and innovation can be used to create the most powerful human connections.

5,000 limited edition MP3 ‘button’ badges will be sold at selected Telstra stores and the Legacy stall in Martin Place Sydney, during Legacy Week for $15.

There are also 10,000 virtual badges available for download from Facebook and the iTunes app store for $10 and $9.49 respectively, until the 10 September.

Proceeds from the sale of The Legacy Songs Badge go directly to helping Legacy provide practical assistance to the dependents of Australia’s deceased veterans.
