It’s not the first time family has proved inspiration for the younger Kardashian’s makeup line, Kylie Cosmetics. Jenner has previously collaborated with other sister Khloe and several shades in the pre-existing range are named after her family members.

One day after dropping the promo announcement – which incidentally is surely definitive proof that Kim and Kyle are actual twins (or clones) – Jenner has given us a closer look at what the range will entail.

If you’re a fan of colour, this probably isn’t one for you.

The four piece collection was created to represent Kim Kardashian’s signature nude look, with the colours reportedly designed to perfectly match her favourite nude latex dresses.

The announcement from Jenner’s makeup line, which has already enjoyed stellar success since its launch two years ago, instantly got the beauty world talking.

However many people found the fact that Kardashian chose to name all four shades after herself (Yes, really) far more interesting.

The four pink-y-nude shades are all based on Kim’s various nicknames – Kimberly, Kim, Kiki and Kimmie.

Kimberly is a peachy beige, Kim is more coral, Kiki is a rosy nude and Kimmie has an almost light brick tone.

In a move away from the rest of Kylie Cosmetic's lip products, the KKW collection features a totally new créme formula, rather than the usual matte.

The range will drop on kyliecosmetics.com on April 26th at 8am AEST.
