Kylie Jenner seems to have named her new pet Bruce.

It’s a little strange.

Names for your pet, for the most part, don’t attract much criticism.

Whether you decide on Bob or Bobzaaagtaahh, people generally leave you to it without much more than an eyebrow raise and a smirk.

But Famous Person Kylie Jenner has attracted attention for an unusual choice of name for the latest addition to her pet family.

She appears to have called her bunny Bruce.

In a huge and perhaps unintentional (is that possible?) coincidence, this was also her father’s former name prior to transitioning and changing her name to Caitlyn.

Kylie, 17, announced the new addition on her Snapchat.

You can hear Kylie cooing, “Hi Bruce” before someone asks whether the bunny has pee on its foot.

Although we are given confirmation that the bunny’s foot is in fact dirty and does not have pee on it, Kylie doesn’t explicitly say whether the bunny is called Bruce, or whether it is merely saying hello to a person named Bruce who may or may not be watching the Snapchat with the rest of the world.

An investigation has of course been launched to determine the answer.

In the meantime, Kylie left us with some other rather adorable Snapchats of the bunny that may or may not be currently or formerly referred to as Bruce.

If the bunny is indeed named Bruce and this was a deliberate decision made on purpose by Kylie, we are unsure whether this is kind of lovely or kind of weird or kind of a non-event in general.

It’s all very confusing and perplexing and we’re just going to take a quick lie-down to process it all.
