The Spill: Saturday's best entertainment and gossip news.

1. Oh. Not even Kyle Sandilands tuned in watch his new show, Trial By Kyle.

On Thursday night, the first episode of Trial By Kyle went to air on Channel 10, attracting a metropolitan audience of 363,000 – not the best result.

The show sees radio host Kyle Sandilands hear cases (well, petty complaints) from everyday Australians and then deliver his completely unqualified verdict. Winner of The Bachelor and qualified lawyer Anna Heinrich is on-hand during the show to offer her legal advice and some occasional side-eye in Kyle’s direction.

Sound appealing? Well even Kyle Sandilands is conflicted over whether he’s actually wanting to watch his own television show.

In a bizarre move, Kyle wrote on Twitter on Thursday: “I’ll be watching @LoveIslandAU tonight, but you guys feel free to watch
@TrialByKyleAU 8:30pm on @Channel10AU.”

Even on his radio show on Thursday morning, the controversial host consistently mentioned he won’t be watching Trial By Kyle, as he likes Channel Nine’s Love Island too much.

“What if it’s not as good as the pilot… this is what I’m worried about,” he said to co-host Jackie ‘O’ Henderson.

2. Rebekah Vardy has taken another swipe at Coleen Rooney in the WAG feud that just keeps on giving.

#WAGfeud was the distraction the UK needed this month. While British pollies were cracking the cranks about ditching the EU, soccer wives Rebekah Vardy and Coleen Rooney put on a spectacular sideshow that helped the whole country forget about Brexit for a minute.

And just in time for another delay in the departure deadline, Vardy is bringing the goods again.

You may recall (or perhaps not if you have a rich life with fulfilling hobbies and meaningful interests that don't involve wives of foreign athletes), that this all began when Rooney exposed Vardy as the source of tabloid leaks about her family, after setting up an elaborate sting involving Instagram stories. (For details about how Wagatha Christie pulled it off, see our previous reporting.)

"I have saved and screenshotted all the original stories which clearly show just one person has viewed them," she posted on October 9. "It’s…… Rebekah Vardy’s account."

Well, after weeks of social media silence, Vardy returned to Twitter with a delicious dig disguised as a celebration of her husband winning a soccer match: "It’s…… Jamie Vardy #9."

Goal.

May this never end.

3. Felicity Huffman has been released from prison after serving just 11 days behind bars.

It's three days sooner than expected, but actor turned inmate 77806-112, Felicity Huffman, has officially done her time.

The former Desperate Housewives star walked free from federal women's prison in California, having served 11 days of her 14-day sentence for her role in the college admissions scandal.

Huffman was convicted of fraud and conspiracy earlier this month, after she confessed to paying a university admissions consultant (and the scam mastermind) US$15,000 to boost her daughter's SAT admissions exam scores.

She was sentenced to two weeks in prison, and handed a US$30,000 fine and 250 hours of community service.

It's believed she was released early due to a fortunate prison policy that sees inmates scheduled for weekend release let out on Fridays.

4.‘Born again’ Kanye West asked people working on his album ‘not to have premarital sex’.

Rapper, singer, designer, Kardashian spouse and self-styled "Christian innovator", Kayne West, is releasing a new album called Jesus Is King. (Which is a refreshingly differential title coming from a man who has described himself as "the voice of a generation" and said his favourite rapper is... himself.)

It's a piece of work the 42-year-old has poured his soul into, in an effort to "spread the gospel". See, Kanye is all about J.C. these days, so much so that he started hosting his own Christian gatherings around the US; called 'Sunday Service', the sessions blend prayer music and spirituality.

And in making the album (which was due to drop on Friday, but is still being finalised), it seems Kanye demanded similar levels of devotion from his collaborators.

"This is gonna be radical what I’m about to say... there's times where I was asking people to not have premarital sex while they were working on the album," Kanye told Beats 1.

He said he also asked them to fast. Because if you want someone to focus, depriving them of sex and food makes total sense. [insert eye roll here]

Yeezy, please...y.

Married at First Sight‘s Cyrell Paule and Love Island‘s Eden Dally have split, four months before she is due to give birth to their son.

The reality TV star, who is currently 23-weeks pregnant, announced the breakup via Instagram on Friday night.

“Even if it’s just you and me. We’ll create our own happiness,” Cyrell, 30, said alongside a selfie of her in underwear, holding her growing pregnant belly.

Cyrell and Eden, 26, had been together for seven months, and their child is due in February next year.

Cyrell also posted to her Instagram Stories on Friday night, writing: “You would think people would be happy to hear about my break up. Are you all not happy. Was this not what you all rooted and prayed for. Or maybe your prayers of me having a miscarriage is what ur hoping for next.

“We live in a sad, bad world where [we] wish and pray for misery on others to feel better about ourselves.
