Kelly Clarkson finally responds to those fat shaming comments.

We love what she has to say to Katie Hopkins.

British TV personality Katie Hopkins has been slinging nasty comments at singer Kelly Clarkson about her post-baby body.

And Kelly has finally stood up for herself and responded to Katie’s latest tweet about her, which said, “Look chubsters, Kelly Clarkson had a baby a year ago. That is no longer baby weight. That is carrot cake weight. Get over yourselves.”

Speaking to Heat magazine, Kelly said, "She's tweeted something nasty about me? That's because she doesn't know me. I'm awesome! It doesn't bother me. It's a free world. Say what you will. I've just never cared what people think.”

The initial attack on Kelly took place when Katie tweeted, "Jesus, what happened to Kelly Clarkson? Did she eat all of her backing singers? Happily I have wide-screen. #grahamnorton," after watching the American Idol winner perform on The Graham Norton Show.

Kelly went on to say, "It's more if I'm happy and I'm confident and feeling good, that's always been my thing. And more so now, since having a family – I don't seek out any other acceptance."

Kelly and her husband Brandon Blackstock welcomed their daughter River Rose in June of last year. And she doesn’t seem to care the slightest about Katie’s two cents worth.

It looks like Kelly can have her cake AND eat it too. Take that, Katie.
