How would you feel if people were placing bets on whether or not you were pregnant?
Well, that is what Duchess Kate is facing at this very moment.
Jessica Hay has told New Idea that Kate is expecting. Jessica used to be Kate’s friend, and she’s the person who confirmed the pregnancy rumours back in November 2012 when Kate was pregnant with George (hence, used to be Kate’s friend). Kate didn’t officially announce she was pregnant until December 2012, after being admitted to hospital for acute morning sickness.
As a result Jessica has put people into a frenzy. Betting, with real money, whether Kate is pregnant, what gender the baby will be, what name Kate and Will are going to choose and when they will officially announce the pregnancy. So much so that bookmakers have stopped taking bets because of the overwhelming amount of bets placed overnight.
In case you are wondering, the favourite announcement date is Prince George's 1st birthday (22 July).
So, what are the clues to Kate being pregnant? Well, there are many according to Jessica.
"Kate's inner circle are buzzing with the news that she is pregnant," Jessica told New Idea. "I've heard it from several different friends of theirs now and they're saying that they think there's going to be an official announcement in weeks."
