1. The weird prank that confused onlookers straight after Kate Middleton gave birth.

For some reason, when you’re Kate Middleton and you give birth, you’re not allowed to hang around in stretchy pants and then go home in your pyjamas to contemplate what the HELL just happened to your body and/or your life.

Instead, you have to stand out the front of the hospital, just hours after welcoming an actual human to the world, and smile.

In anticipation of this bizarre tradition, onlookers in London waited eagerly outside St Mary’s Hospital on Monday for a glimpse of the newest addition to the British royal family.

But as they were waiting, something strange happened.

A black cab drove past with the Queen in it.

Except it wasn’t the Queen.

It was a wax figure of the Queen.

Because: prank?

It’s still not entirely clear who organised the prank, but considering some royal super fans had been waiting outside the Lindo wing for TWO WEEKS, we’re guessing a lot of people genuinely thought it was the Queen and lost it.

Luckily, Prince William and Kate Middleton eventually appeared with their newborn, in a moment that has been celebrated for its subtle nod to Princess Diana.

2. We have confirmation that our favourite couple from Bachelor in Paradise are still together.

The time has come for the couples on Channel 10’s Bachelor in Paradise to decide – will they stay together, or leave it all behind in Fiji?

Realistically though, all we want to know is who stays together in real life. And thanks to Simone Ormesher, we’ve finally got a bit of inside info.

Maybe. We hope.

In a recent interview with Yahoo, Simone confirmed that Sam and Tara, our favourite couple, are still together.

“I think that’s what we all wanted to find in Paradise, what Sam and Tara have,” she said

“But unfortunately, it didn’t work out that way for me.”

Simone also mentioned a little something about Jarred and Keira, who are also supposedly still an item. As for Grant and Ali, apparently they’re over.

No word on Jake and Megan though. But our fingers are crossed.

3. Married at First Sight’s Davina has a new boyfriend.

Married At First Sight‘s Davina Rankin has found herself a new boyfriend – and it’s not Dean. Or Ryan.

Speaking to the Daily Mail on Monday, Davina, 27, said she’s “extremely happy” with cafe owner Jaxon Manuel.

The pair have apparently been friends for years, but Davina said the “timing” was finally right for them to start dating.

“He’s the best and we are extremely happy with one another. Life is good,” she said.

Two weeks earlier, Davina had hinted there was a new man in her life, but she’s only been ready to go public with it now.

At the time, Davina said someone had “slipped into her life who just happens to be perfect”.

Tracey will be relieved.

4. Sorry, what? An actress tried to lure Emma Watson into a sex cult.

In a spectacularly strange turn of events, it would appear former Smallville star Allison Mack – who was arrested last week for her role in a sex cult – tried to lure Emma Watson into the cult.

According to a series of 2016 tweets as first reported by Business Insider, Mack reached out to Watson on Twitter, asking her to chat about joining a “women’s movement”.

“I participate in a unique human development & women’s movement I’d love to tell you about. As a fellow actress I can relate so. well to your vision and what you want to see in the world. I think we could work together. Let me know if you’re willing to chat,” she wrote in one tweet, dated back to February 2016.

On Friday, the actress pleaded not guilty to charges of sex trafficking, according to Fox News, for her involvement in NXIVM.

5. Ita Buttrose is leaving Studio Ten.

Ita Buttrose is set to depart Studio 10 after four-and-a-half years at the helm of the show.

According to a recent report in TV Tonight, Buttrose will announce the news on Wednesday morning – believed to be her final show – after coming to a “mutual decision” with the network.

Buttrose was one the founding cast members of the show.
