Life is hard when you’re related to a royal.
In case you didn’t know who James Middleton is, you just confirmed his worst fear. The younger sibling of the Duchess of Cambridge has admitted that it is “frustrating” living in his royal sister’s shadow.
The 27-year-old entrepreneur feels that his achievements are overshadowed by Kate since she gained her royal status.
In an interview with with The Young Director (TYD) James said, “Yes, it does get frustrating. I work incredibly hard, just like every other person in business and work. And aside from the fact of - yes, I am the brother of someone very important - I am, at the end of the day, just James."
Cry me a river James. Cry me a river.
But even though he is "just James", the owner of Boomf (a company that prints Instagram pictures on marshmallows - yeah that's a thing), he seems to think pretty highly of himself.
When asked who he would like to play him as a character in a film, without a second though James responded, “Leonardo DiCaprio!”
"I would want Leonardo to play me because I believe in his acting mastery. The guy is a genius and he would make me look fantastic," he said.
It’s okay Kate, there’s always one in the family.
