Prince George is even cuter on our side of the world.

Kate and Will have started the royal tour of Australia and NZ with baby George in tow, and he’s just as adorable in our time zone as theirs..

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, William and Kate, hit our sunburnt country early this morning, touching down ever so briefly in Sydney before jetting off again to New Zealand to kick off their Royal tour.

Will and Kate were spotted at Sydney airport with 8-month-old George just before 6am and the photos are adorable. Kate was holding on tightly to the little prince who was himself gripping a baby joey toy in his hands.

The family of three stepped onto a Royal New Zealand air force jet and were whisked off, touching down in Wellington around 12. They flew into a storm surrounding, of all things, their decision to have George travel in a forward-facing baby car seat, which had sent social media into a spin.

Kate and Will were seen gracefully exiting their jet in Wellington, with all eyes on the Duchess’s red ensemble, a red pillbox hat and Catherine Walker coat, which was flaring in the wind as she cradled baby George.

The little prince was then taken by his nanny while his parents met with government officials. Both Prince William and Duchess Kate received a traditional Maori welcome, including a performance of the Haka and a  “hongi” nose rub.

We can expect Kate, Will and George to fly back into Sydney next week.
