Jon Bon Jovi's Daughter Arrested for Heroin Possession

Somebody's dad is not going to be very pleased when he finds out this news.

Stephanie Rose Bongiovi, the daughter of rocker Jon Bon Jovi, was arrested at her upstate New York college earlier today after being found in the possession of heroin, marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

The 19-year-old Hamilton College student had the police call on her at about 1:51 a.m. when she was found unresponsive after a seeming heroin overdose. Medical personnel found her alive and took her to a local hospital, where she is expected to be released today.

After a search of the dorm room she was found in, the Town of Kirkland Police Department found a small amount of heroin, marijuana and drug paraphernalia. That led the police to arrest both Stephanie and 21-year-old Ian S. Grant on three misdemeanor counts. Stephanie was released but ordered to return to court at a later date.

"In addition to violating state law, the actions alleged to have been committed by the students violate Hamilton College policy," Hamilton College says in a statement to WKTV. "The college is cooperating with the police investigation. Our first concern is always for the safety of our students. Out of respect for the privacy of our students and in accordance with federal regulations we do not discuss individual health or disciplinary matters."

Stephanie is the eldest of Bon Jovi's four children with wife Dorothea Hurley. They also are parents to Jesse James Louis, 17, Jacob Hurley, 10, and Romeo Jon, 8.
