The five Jersey Shore moments we still can't believe actually happened.

Pick up the duck phone Jersey Shore fans, your favourite guidos and guidettes are reuniting for a reboot.

The show’s original cast members Nicole (Snooki) Polizzi, Mike (The Situation) Sorrentino, Jenni (JWoww) Farley, Paul (Pauly D) DelVecchio, Vinny Guadagnino, Ronnie Ortiz-Magro, Deena Nicole Cortese and Angelina Pivarnick drank copious amounts of alcohol, fought over, well, nothing really, and partied their way around the world.

And now they’re coming back to do it all again – Jersey Shore Family Vacation will air on MTV in 2018.

To mark this ~ very ~ special booze-filled occasion, we decided to look back on some of the most unbelievable moments from the original series.

That time Snooki was punched in the face by a man

Yep, this was probably the most problematic moment from the whole series.

A grown man knocked out everyone’s favourite lil’ meatball when she confronted him about taking photos of the group.

“It’s not for you! Who are you?” Snooki yelled at Brad Ferro, a gym teacher from Queens, and then he punched her so hard she fell to the ground.

An all-out brawl then broke out between the cast members and Ferro’s friends.

Ferro was later arrested and charged with assault and disorderly conduct.

This was probably the most defining – and confronting – moment of the series and it attracted a lot of debate around whether MTV should have been allowed to air the clip.

That time Snooki got arrested on the beach

I think every Jersey Shore fan will remember the time when a ~ very ~ drunk Snooki ran along the boardwalk, with the ocean directly in front of her, yelling out “WHERE’S THE BEACH?”.

It turns out it was, erm, right in front of her.

Snooki was then arrested because she’d been drinking all day and she was, well, Snooki drunk.

When the officers were slapping on the handcuffs, she yelled, “I’m a f—ing good person”. We know, honey, we know.

That time “The Situation” slammed his head into the wall

Yeah so… this happened.

At one point in the series Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino decided to slam his head into a wall to pump himself up for a fight with Ronnie.

As it turns out, running head first towards a wall is more likely to knock you out than pump you up. Mike ended up in a neck brace.. silly Mike.

That time Sammi and Ronni had a huge fight

During a particularly brutal fight in season three, Ronni called Sammi a “useless, spoiled bitch” and stomped on her glasses.

The loud, out-of-control fight continued for some time and neither the producers or any of the other housemates stepped in to stop it.

At one stage Ronnie threw all of Sammi’s possessions around the room while she clung to the bed like “spider monkey”.

“No one in the house wanted to deal with it, and they just let Sammi and Ronnie go crazy,” a source told US Weekly.

That time Ronnie’s mum drunk-dialed the duck phone

Probably one of the most bizarre and funniest moments of the series was when Ron’s mum drunk-dialed the duck phone.

Denna answered the phone and said mum muttered about Ronnie and Sammie’s relationship through slurred speech.

She then spoke to “The Situation” and gave him a bit of an earful about his behaviour in the house.

Oh Ronnie’s mum, never change.
