12 women compete for Prince Harry's love on new reality show "I wanna marry Harry."

A Bachelor-style dating show in which 12 women compete for the royal hand of Prince Harry is set to air on America’s FOX network in May.

Twelve hopeful US-based ladies were flown to the UK, where they spent a month living with Harry on a fancy estate, each trying to win his love, and hopefully a place in the royal family.

Oh I’m sorry – did I forget to mention that it’s not Prince Harry at all but just some random red-headed dude who kind of looks like him? Check it out:

Feel ripped off?

Yeah – the women probably did too. Apparently they were only informed in a big ‘reveal’ at the end of filming that the ‘Prince’ was actually Matthew Hicks – just an ‘average’ English bloke.

HAHAHAHAHAHA jokez on you ladeez! Your humiliation is our entertainment! Hooray!

Produced by Ryan Seacrest (the man who unleashed the Kardashians on a very unsuspecting human race), the offical description for the show is this:

“Summer love is in the air, as an average English ‘bloke’ is given the royal treatment and an upper crust makeover before meeting 12 single American women searching for Prince Charming. Will he be able to convince them he’s regal? And if he does, will they fall for the crown, or fall in love with the real him? Join ‘Harry’ as he courts each of the ladies, taking them on romantic dates worthy of a princess and trying to make some version of their fairytales come true.”

Wowsers, they whipped out the word ‘regal’. They must be serious.

But, this whole thing begs the question… How in the HELL were these girls duped? I mean, that guy kind of, sort of, maybe, possibly looks like Harry… if I blur the pictures and make them really small and put them side by side like this:

But then… Yeah, nah. Not really. And these girls spent A MONTH with this guy! How did it work? Did any of them suspect? Did regular bloke ‘Matthew’ ever drop his cover? Were they pissed off at the end?

Oh my god. I just got sucked in.

I officially want to watch this show soooo bad. #sorrynotsorry
