This is taking the obsession for the perfect wedding to a scary new level.

No rain on your wedding. Guaranteed. But it’ll cost you.

On the list of things that could ruin your wedding day, I’m putting my money on a downpour of rain being right at the top. Muddy dresses? Runny mascara? Apocalyptic-like wedding photos? No thanks.

And if you’re a bride that’s been checking the weather like a crazed lunatic, plotting the days in the year that most likely to give sunshine and praying to the weather gods that the dreaded doom of pending clouds don’t ruin your big day – worry no more.

Because if you’ve got the cash,  you can stop it raining all together. A company called Oliver’s Travels are charging upwards of $200,000 for their renowned “cloud-busting” service.

So no photos like this, then?

Yes you read that right, this company is literally bringing a whole new meaning to the term, "don't rain on my parade". And when their sales pitch is "the only cloud at your wedding will be Cloud Nine," it's hard not to believe them.

How it all works is a team of pilots and meteorologists are flown up into the sky to sprinkle silver iodide particles over the clouds hovering near your venue. This causes them to burst and disappear. Wow.

This technique was used at Prince William and Kate Middleton's wedding, a Paul McCartney concert and even the Beijing Olympics, reports The Telegraph.

And it seems the company take their job very seriously, stating on their website:

"One thing always bugged us - we can help plan everything down to the last detail, but there was one thing we could never really change: The weather. So we decided to do something about that. We're proud and just a little bit excited to be able to offer an exclusive 'cloud-bursting' service to our customers, 100 per cent guaranteeing fair weather and clear skies for when you tie the knot!"

Given the amount of money couples decide to spend on their wedding these days, it was only a matter of time before companies started cashing in on the perfect wedding day weather.
