"My cat and I are eating better together."

Well, I’m on a diet. Millie however is just eating better. She’s switching to a super-premium dry cat food called PURINA ONE. I, on the other hand, need to lose a couple of kilos, having put on a bit during the recent completion of a rather intense university assignment.

Millie doesn’t need to lose any weight. She is perfect. My gorgeous, stand-offish princess is a beautiful girl and I am so incredibly happy she came into our lives.

I still remember the day we met her.

I’d Googled where exactly we could find a rescue cat and found they had some at our local vet. My son Giovanni, my daughter Caterina and my nephew Paul all bundled into the car, drove there, walked in and were immediately drawn to the timid little kitten with white fur and a few black spots.

She needed love and we wanted to give it to her.

To avoid any stomach upsets, Millie has been in the transition phase of the PURINA ONE 21 Day Program for the past 10 days, whereby I have been mixing her old wet cat food in with PURINA ONE. I've been gradually reducing the amount of wet cat food and now she'll eat PURINA ONE dry cat food exclusively for the next 21 days.

Dr. Joanne Righetti, who has been advising me on behalf of PURINA ONE team, said that after this first week I should look out for improvements in Millie’s health such as more energy and vitality.

I’m just happy knowing she’s getting a product that contains all the nutrients she needs, because that’s exactly what she deserves.
