real life

He looks like he's wearing a suit. Actually, he's in his pyjamas. Genius.

You know what they say: “You should dress for the job you want”. This guy wants to go to bed.

Say goodbye to pants and farewell to that tiresome button up. Say hello to the ‘Suitsy’ – also known as HEAVEN.

The Suitsy, like all the best things is life, is pretty simple really. It’s a shirt, jacket and a pair of pants all sewn into one magnificent jumpsuit. It is an adult-sized pyjama onesie disguised so spiffily as a full business suit.

It’s creator Jesse Herzog claims it’s a “revolution” and we can’t help but agree. He says, “Imagine looking professional but feeling like you are in pyjamas.”

Let’s take a look at this glorious invention shall we.

(Post continues after video…)

After a crowd funding campaign Herzog and a Silicon Valley-based retailer, by the name of Betabrand, have been busily turning the concept piece into a reality.

And now, according the Business Insider Australia, the luckiest man in the world, Greg Ferenstein, has managed to get his paws on the first production run.

Thankfully, for all of us that are green with Suitsy envy he has just provided a blow-by-blow review of the splendour that is the business-suit/onesie hybrid.

He said, “For four days I barely took the Suitsy off  —  and never wanted to. I worked out, went grocery shopping, held business meetings, and went out drinking at a bar in it. As a blogger who spends most of my workday in pyjamas anyways, it was like wearing my normal attire all day long.”

He added, “Were it not for occasional glances in retail-shop windows, I would have thought I was at home in sweatpants.”

Are you seething with jealousy too?

Ferestein decided to carry out a quantitative study. He tested his quality of sleep, with and without the suitsy and conducted an online survey by comparing professional photos of himself in his normal suit to the Suitsy.

And the results are in. Drum roll PLEASE.

“The Suitsy definitely proved its worth in both style and comfort. It won’t make you look like the sharpest trendsetter at the negotiating table. But if you’re like me, and wear a business suit once or twice a year, the Suitsy is more than a sufficient substitute.”

We’re sold.

Would you give the ‘Suitsy’ a go?
