A Harvey Norman bunk bed has been recalled over concerns it could "trap" kids.

A Harvey Norman bunk bed has been recalled.

The furniture retailer’s store in Mascot, Sydney, has been selling the Domino Bunk Bed without the required infill on the top bunk side panel.

The bed was supplied by Dixie Cummings Enterprises Pty Ltd.

The company has recalled the bunk bed as there is a risk the bed could cause entrapment.

The Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) has published a recall notice on its website stating the product “does not comply with the mandatory standard Trade Practices Act 1974”.

According to the ACCC’s website, customers will be contacted by Harvey Norman by phone or mail, to organise a new insert timber panel and label to be supplied/installed free of charge.

Consumers can contact the Aftersales Administrator by email aftersalessupport@dixiecummings.com.au or phone on 03 9762 2988.
