The curious reason Gisele Bundchen gave away all her children's Halloween lollies.

It’s hard to believe, but supermodel Gisele Bündchen has revealed she gave away her children’s entire Halloween haul because they didn’t like it.

The 36-year-old told People her two children, daughter Vivien and son Benjamin, were allowed to try one piece before it was taken.

“We don’t really have that a kind of sugar in our house,” Bündchen said.

“I let them try one (piece), but they really only had one bite and then they didn’t want it anymore.”

Hm. Children + lollies = “No thank you, mother dearest, we shall nibble our massaged kale instead.”

The mother-of-two said her children actually wanted the treats to be given to those less fortunate.

“I said to them, ‘You know, there are so many kids that don’t get candy and you guys got so many, some kids don’t even get one! And they’re like, ‘Oh mom, okay you can give it to them if they don’t get any’.”

Look. It’s a sweet story but we’re very suspicious. Surely these kids have hidden a secret stash of Kit-Kats under their beds and lounge cushions. SURELY.

The spooky holiday season involved trick-or-treating as well as matching costumes.

Bündchen shared an image of her standing with son Benjamin with fans on Instagram dressed as the Super Mario Brothers.

She told fans she had chosen the costume after it was revealed nobody wanted to dress as Luigi.

"When your son wants to be super Mario but no one wants to be Luigi. This is what you do," she wrote.

Bündchen was celebrated by fans for truly embracing the Halloween spirit.

"I absolutely love this photo! What a great mom you are," one fan wrote.

"Mum of the year," wrote another.

Puh-lease. Everyone knows Princess Peach would have swiped right to Luigi over Mario any day. The guy was easily clearing six feet.
