Girl, 15, raped at train station, and then raped again by the person she asked for help.

A manhunt is underway after a 15-year-old girl in the UK was raped at a railway station and then assaulted for a second time after hailing a car to ask for help.

It was Tuesday evening and the victim, who remains unidentified, had walked to Witton station in Birmingham with a friend. She was approached by a man and led away, the Mirror reports.

Soon after, she emerged from the station and flagged down a passing vehicle to ask for help: She’d just been raped.

The man in the vehicle, however, was no good samaritan. After getting in the car with the second man, the victim was raped once again.

Both attacks reportedly took place between 7pm on Tuesday evening and 2am on Wednesday morning.

Luke Lazarus was acquitted of rape. Post continues below.

Police have combined efforts to find the men responsible, with British Transport Police and West Midlands Police working together to track down the attackers.

“This was a horrifying ordeal for this young girl and we have specially trained officers supporting her,” Detective Chief Inspector at the British Transport Police Tony Fitzpatrick told Mirror.

“It is now vitally important we investigate exactly what happened as well as identifying offenders for both of these awful incidents.”
