Summer hair transformation: Georgia Love is mostly blonde now.

Last week, Bachelor winner Laura Byrne showed off a new haircut that was inspired by our latest Netflix obsession, The Sinner.

Today, it’s former Bachelorette Georgia Love’s turn to debut a new look to the world. You see, she is no longer a brunette, she is a ‘bronde’.

It seems the fun-loving, reporter has decided that she wants to ‘lighten up’ in time for the summer months, and has gone quite a few shades blonder than the signature brunette locks we’re used to seeing.

“I already have more than my fair share of fun but let’s see if this doesn’t ramp things up a bit,” she shared alongside a snap of her new blonder ‘do.

Of course, the 29-year-old injected a bit of her trademark humour into the post, adding the hashtags #brondeshavemorefun, #blondeforsummerhoworiginal and #ombrehombre.

Georgia’s 188,000 fans were quick to offer their praise of the TV personality’s new look, with some added they “hardly recognised her” while scrolling through their Instagram feeds.

“You look stunning,” one fan wrote, while another added, “I love the colour so pretty.”

This isn’t the first time the Bachelorette star has shown off her new locks for fans: in November last year, just weeks after finding love with Lee Elliot, she debuted a much shorter cut.

Of course, going blonde (or, in Georgia’s case ‘bronde’) for summer isn’t without it’s perils. Seasonal staples like chlorine, sun, saltwater and fake tan can all wreak havoc on lighter hair, turning a pretty golden hue brassy and even green.

Luckily, Mamamia spoke to hair gods experts to ensure your golden locks stay beautiful all summer long.

The best tips? Rinse hair before diving into the salty ocean, wearing a shower cap during fake tan treatments and using clarifying and hydrating shampoos and conditioners.
