VOTE: Who do you want to be Mamamia's next Food Blogger?

Mamamia, together with Rachel’s Gourmet Low Fat Yoghurt, is proud to present the inaugural Food Blogger Idol competition.

Here at Mamamia we LOVE our food and we know you do to. And that’s why we decided to go on a search for a Mamamia Food Blogger – someone who could translate their love for all things food related and create amazing recipes to share with readers.

Over the past few weeks, we’ve received sooooo many incredible entries and mouth-watering recipes from our Food Blogger Idol hopefuls. Their challenge was to create a unique dish containing Rachel’s Gourmet Low Fat Yoghurt, and boy oh boy did they succeed.

It’ hasn’t been easy but we’ve managed to simmer the list down to our five favourites.

Elly Jean-Louis made a Figgen Scrumptious Tart. Check out her entry here.

Shaun Ramadge made a Strawberry Yoghurt Mousse Tart. Check out his entry here.

Sofia Levin made a Guilt-Free, No-Bake Plum Semifreddo with Raw Nut Base. Check out her entry here.

Lucy Mathieson made Mini Peach & Passionfruit Cheesecake Tarts with Passionfruit Curd, White Chocolate & Crushed Pistachios. Check out her entry here.

Sheryl Lee made Strawberry & Rhubarb “Cheesecake” Popsicles. Check out her entry here.

Here’s how it’s going to work:

Voting commences on Friday 13th June and closes on Monday 23rd June 2014 at 10.00am AEST.

Voting takes less time than it takes to boil the kettle and by getting involved you’ll be in the running to win one of five $100 Universal gift cards – accepted anywhere Visa is.

At the end of the week, the person with the most votes will be crowned Mamamia’s Food Blogger and will win a three-month contract (one paid and published post per week).

So what are you waiting for? Let’s get cooking voting!

In order to vote for your favourite foodie, select them below and tell us your answer to this question in 25 words or less:

“What would Rachel’s next ideal combination of yoghurt and fruit look like and why do you think it would work?”

Choose carefully, foodies, ‘cause the finalist with the most public votes will be awarded the title of Mamamia’s official Food Blogger – and will get a coveted three-month contract involving one paid, and one published post on the site per week.
