FLUFF: Nicole Kidman talks about divorce, depression and pregnancy.

Nicole Kidman has opened up to Who magazine about her divorce, her children and her marriage. The notoriously private actress is on the cover of the magazine’s 20th anniversary edition.

This from the Daily Telegraph:

“I got married really fast and really young,” Kidman told WHO. “But I don’t regret that because it got me [children] Bella and Connor and I did have a fantastic marriage for a long period. Then when it didn’t work out I had to really dig deep and find my way through depression. I have no regrets about all of it. It was all part of growing up.”

Kidman, who is now also mum to Sunday Rose and Faith Margaret with husband Keith Urban, says announcing she was pregnant in 2008 was one of the greatest surprises of her life.

“Every woman who has been through all those ups and downs knows the depression that comes with it. So the way it just happened with Sunday was like, ‘What?’ The percentages were so low. It is the miracle in my life.”

We want to buy this album and we want to buy it NOW. Sadly, it’s a Christmas album and so we will have to wait until November to hear the magic that a John Travolta and Olivia Newton-John reunion will bring. That’s right – the pair are releasing an album called This Christmas just in time for the holiday season.

This Christmas

The album will also feature 13 guest stars, including Barbra Streisand, Tony Bennett, James Taylor, Chick Corea and Kenny G. We’re predicting that the highlight will be the original song, I Think You Might Like It, a sequel to the Grease hit You’re the One That I Want.

The pair will donate the artist proceeds from the album equally to the Jett Travolta Foundation, to combat children’s disabilities, including autism and seizures, and the Olivia Newton-John Cancer and Wellness Centre in Melbourne.

We’re still a little bit obsessed with this Japanese invention. Partly because it is so bizarre that we can’t possibly work out why anyone would EVER want to try it. Ever.

Basically – and try not to overthink this – men and women are trying saline bagel-shaped injections on their foreheads. Technicians insert a needle into the forehead to create a blob; the practitioner then places their thumb into the blob to create an indentation.

The Japanese artist who pioneered the “modcon” body art said that it’s about innovation: “People who like extreme body modification want to find their own way of doing things, and they’re always looking for new ways to do that. The more progressive the scene gets, the more these people have to experiment and go their own way.”

We might pass but thanks anyway.
