Prepare yourselves to see Oprah in a way you’ve never seen her before. The 58 year old talk show legend has posted a picture from the set of her new film, The Butler, on Instagram. The snap shows Oprah seductively smoking a cigarette while her co-star, Terrence Howard, places his hand on her thigh.
The film is based on the story of Eugene Allen, a black man who served as the White House butler for 34 years. It’ll be out in 2013. (We expect to attend the premiere, given that she came to visit the Mamamia offices and all – you can see what went down that day HERE.)
Americon Idol judges Nicki Minaj and Mariah Carey have brought the Idol auditions in North Carolina to a halt. Why, you ask? Because they’re ah… not the best of buddies.
A leaked clip from filming shows the two judges verbally abusing each other, with Minaj claiming that Carey won’t stop tooting her own horn, and Carey complaining about Minaj’s immature attitude.
In case you can’t see the video, Minaj says: “I don’t feel inadequate. You’re the insecure one sitting up there running down her resume every five minutes.” Carey hits back by asking: “Do I have a three year old sitting around me?” Burn.
We just feel sorry for our darling Keith Urban, who will be sitting on the judging panel between the pair when the series airs in Janurary 2013. Bring a stack hat Keith.

Here’s what we’ve learnt about fashion, courtesy of Miranda:
1. A printed shirt goes a long way to dressing up skinny jeans. Especially when it’s buttoned-up.
2. Ditto pointed heels.
3. A big, black bag goes with just about everything and makes a printed shirt look a little bit less fussy.
4. Holding a phone in your hand while power walking makes you look important. And busy. (Can you be both).
