Fluff: Lisa McCune laughs about her 'open marriage'

There has been a crazy media frenzy around what’s really going on with Lisa McCune’s love lifeSouth Pacific

There have been rumours that Disney himself has a girlfriend and that he was recently holidaying with her in Hawaii. Meanwhile, in interviews published over the weekend to publicise her new Channel 10 drama  , McCune refers to Disney as “my partner”.

Frustratingly for every magazine editor in Australia, Lisa refuses to do a tell-all interview or even to clarify her romatic/relationship status, continuing to be seen with both men (and just quietly, why shouldn’t she hang out with whomever she likes).

HOWEVER.

When asked directly in the interview about whether she has an ‘open marriage” she said this: “That gives me the giggles. I think the description is hysterical. It does make me laugh when I read that. It makes me laugh,” she told The Sunday Telegraph. “I’m not making any reference to my life because nobody knows what’s going on, outside me and my family,” she added.

In case you missed this story over the weekend – here’s a little something from Mamamia Today host Em Rusciano….

Delta and Vogue

On Friday the FOXfm breakfast show ‘Matt and Jo’ had Delta Goodrem on as a guest. She is currently doing the rounds to promote her new album, Child Of The Universe.

Along with music talk the chat invariably turned to ex-fiancee Brian McFadden. While Delta hasn’t directly discussed her break up Brain the album is apparently full of lyrics referring to traumatic break-ups.

Eg: “Go and live your life, find another wife.”

And…

“I am broken; there’s a stranger on the phone, something is missing from seven years ago.” (They were together for 7 years.)

Matt brought to Delta’s attention a tweet Brian’s new wife Vogue sent out into the inter webs which appeared to be a response to the song lyrics..

“You say you don’t want to discuss your personal life so DON’T!! but please stop using it to promote yourself it’s embarrassing … #fake” Vogue wrote.

Matt asked Delta how she felt about that tweet and Delta’s response was, well it was EPIC.

Taylor Swift has broken up with boyfriend Conor Kennedy, prompting many a joke about how we should expect another album from her in the next few days (Swift is known for writing songs about ex-boyfriends). And will they ever get back together? Like, ever?

This from news.com.au:

The We’re Never Ever Getting Back Together singer, 22, and the 18-year-old Kennedy, son of Robert Kennedy Jr and the late Mary Richardson Kennedy, began dating back in July.

Kennedy reportedly “wasn’t ready for anything serious”, and the pair apparently found the distance too hard while she promoted her new album, Red.

While a source originally claimed that the split was amicable, telling US Weekly “It was just a distance thing. No hard feelings”, it has since come out that Taylor’s rumoured preoccupation with with the Kennedy legacy was too much for Kennedy.

“Conor’s just an 18-year-old kid and wasn’t ready for anything super serious, but Taylor is looking for her soulmate and it kind of freaked him out with how strong she came on,” a source told Radar Online.

Further proof that Taylor Swift is one excellent role model for young girls (talented, self-made and doesn’t have to dress like a Bratz doll to become a pop star)

Justin Timberlake has had to apologise for a video that was played at his wedding and then leaked online. The video, made by Timberlake’s friend Justin Huchel, begins with the message “Greetings from your Hollywood friends who just couldn’t make it” (a reference to their Italian wedding location). It goes on to feature a homeless man, who was paid $40 to say: “Jessica and Justin, I haven’t seen y’all in a long time. My gift is in the mail.”

You can see the whole video at ivillage.com.au:  here.

Huchel said that the video was meant to poke fun at the couple’s expensive wedding ceremony – but it’s been slammed for being demeaning and distasteful. In Timberlake’s online apology, he wrote: “My friends are good people. This was clearly a lapse in judgement which I’m sure no one who is reading this is exempt from. But, I don’t believe it was made to be insensitive. More so, I think it was made as a joke on me not having that many friends attending my own wedding (which IS kind of funny if you think about it.”

“I want to say that, on behalf of my friends, family and associative knuckleheads, I am deeply sorry to anyone who was offended by the video. Again, it was something that I was not made aware of. But, I do understand the reaction and, by association, I am holding myself accountable.”

(The whole apology is here.)
