Fluff: Two celebs announce their engagements.

1. Two female celebs are getting married, y’all.

It’s been a seriously happy Monday so far, with not one but two celebrities announcing their (separate) engagements.

Thirty-five-year-old Ginnifer Goodwin (of He’s Just Not That Into You fame) is engaged to 35-year-old actor Josh Dallas. The pair are co-stars in the US ABC drama “Once Upon A Time”, playing Snow White and Prince Charming. They’ve been a couple since March 2012, and a rep for Dallas confirmed the news to Us Weekly on Friday.

Now we’re just hanging out for a picture of the ring.

As for the other celebrity? Twenty-seven-year-old fashion designer and former reality TV star, Lauren Conrad, also announced her engagement to boyfriend William Tell – AND she’s shared a pic of the ring:

Lauren wrote on her blog: “I am very excited to share with you guys that William and I got engaged over the weekend. I am beyond thrilled!”

Her fiance, 33-year-old William Tell, was once a musician for piano-rock band Something Corporate, and is now a law student in California. The pair have been dating since 2012.

British newspaper The Sun announced the split between the 45-year-old singer and her 35-year-old Spanish model boyfriend, and a a spokesperson for the couple confirmed that the split was amicable and due to distance and conflicting schedules.

Kylie, who has had numerous long-term relationships – including Michael Hutchence and Oliver Martinez – called Andres ‘the one’ in an interview 12 months ago.

She is currently working on a new album in the US and then will take on the role as a judge for UK’s The Voice next year, whilst Velencoso remains in Spain.

So we already know that one of The Simpson‘s most iconic characters will be killed off in the upcoming 25th season.

And- SPOILER SPOILER SPOILER SPOILER – rumour has it that it’s going to be Apu Nahasapeemapetilon. Yes, everyone’s favourite Kwik-E-Mart store attendant. The rumour was disclosed by Jennifer Tilly, a friend of the show’s co-creator Sam Simon, who made the news public to TMZ.

8. Jay Z and Chris Martin catch public transport because why not.

It was Saturday in London, and Jay Z needed to get to the Q2 arena in order to perform his Magna Carta Holy Grail Tour.

So he rounded up his friends – including Coldplay‘s Chris Martin and his producer Timbaland – and they all caught the London Underground Tube from Waterloo station to his concert. Proving that no matter how cool you are – you’re never too cool for public transport.

Fellow commuters understandably freaked out when they realised exactly who was on the Tube, with one person tweeting: “So jay Z gets on a tube to his own concert LOOOL about 500 ppl just ran after him”.

Rove McManus and Tasma Walton

In September, Rove McManus and his wife, Tasma Walton, announced that they were expecting their first baby. And over the weekend, 40-year-old opened up to Sunday Life magazine, revealing that the pregnancy was “a really beautiful surprise” – and they chose to tell everyone just before a red carpet event at the Toronto Film Festival after discovering that “it’s very difficult to hide a little bump in an evening dress”.

She also discussed McManus’ late wife, Belinda Emmett, who died from cancer in 2006. Walton was actually the one who introduced Emmett to McManus in 1999. “It seemed to me it would be a really great match,” Walton told Sunday Life. “And I was right.”

When asked about the public’s response to her relationship with McManus, which started 11 months after Emmett’s death, she said: “What’s important is your family and friends and how they feel about it… Not one person in that circle thought there was anything wrong.”

Michelle Bridges with the Commando

11. Are the Commando and Michelle Bridges back together?

Over the weekend, it was announced that Michelle Bridges and Steve “Commando” Willis have rekindled their on-again off-again romance – just three months after they called it quits.

The pair, who became official in May, separated in August, when the Commando decided to move back in with his wife Froso and their two children. But now according to the Sunday Telegraph The Biggest Loser hosts are ‘giving it another crack’, with Willis leaving his wife again to get back together with Michelle, who split with her husband of 9 years earlier this year.

According to a friend the pair ”have a really strong connection – Steve tried to be with his family but he and Michelle are back together trying to make it work.”

Charlie Hunnam

12. Christian Grey has pulled out. But not in the way you think.

Charlie Hunnam, the actor cast to play Christian Grey in the upcoming adaptation of E.L James’ bestseller 50 Shades of Grey has pulled out of the lead role, leaving women everywhere feeling well, a little grey. The Sons of Anarchy star and Universal Pictures released a statement yesterday confirming that Hunnam would no longer play Christian Grey due to ‘timing issues’ because of his television commitments.

Dakota Johnson, daughter of Don Johnson and Melanie Griffiths (and stepdaughter of Antonio Banderas) will still play Anastasia Steele in the film set for release in August 2014, however a replacement for Hunnam has not yet been named.

Now for the question on everyone’s mind, who will play Christian? We can only speculate…
