FLUFF: Anne Hathaway sold her wedding photos because...

Reason to love Anne Hathaway No. 743: She married Adam Shulman in September, and is now selling her wedding photos and donating the profits to Freedom to Marry (a pro-gay marriage campaign) and other non-profit organisations. Yes, she is awesome.

This from Opposing Views:

Hathaway is a strong supporter of the LGBT community, and she made that clear in 2008 when she received an award from the Human Rights Campaign. In her acceptance speech, she explained that being gay wasn’t a big deal growing up in her household. “When my brother came out, we hugged him, said we loved him, and that was that,” Hathaway explained.

So, it makes sense that she would use the inevitable profits from her own wedding to support the marriages of same-sex couples. However, her generosity doesn’t end there. She will also be donating profits to the American Cancer Society, The Girl Effect, and St. Jude Children’s Research.

No word just yet on who will be the highest bidder for the wedding photos – but we’ll keep an eye out for you.

In the meantime, here’s a sneak peek plus other recent celeb weddings you may have missed:

Fergie is the latest celebrity to sit down for an Oprah confession. The Black Eyed Peas singer talked about her 9 year relationship with actor Josh Duhamel and how they survived his alleged infidelity.

“It was difficult. When you go through difficult times, it really makes you stronger as a unit, as a partnership. It does for us, anyways. Our love today is a deeper love, definitely. We’re stronger today definitely because of anything difficult that’s happened with us. We deal with it, we communicate; communicating’s the most important thing.”

You can see the video of Fergie talking to Oprah here.

Britney Spears has decided to splurge on a new home in Los Angeles and it cost her a mere US $8.5mil. We’ve got the pics of the house right here because who doesn’t love a little real estate porn.

Getaway presenter and SCA radio host, Jules Lund, has accounced that he is leaving Channel Nine, hinting at a move to rival, Seven.

This from Mumbrella:

Remaining as a presenter on Southern Cross Austereo’s Today Network with Fifi Box, Lund said: “It’s exciting to think for the first time ever I can pick and choose television projects on any network.”

“I’ve also got the freedom to explore opportunities with Fifi Box outside of radio. We’ve formed an unbreakable bond, and up until now, our network contracts have restricted appearing on TV together, so that excites me,” he said.

Box is a Seven talent with an entertainment editor role on Sunrise.

It’s been a big month for Jules, who also announced the birth of his baby girl last week – check out that story here.

Dear Fashion: Please stop being ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS. We will not be adding nose jewellery to our wardrobes anytime soon.

Nose Jeweeleey

As Hurricane Vanessa says:

DON’T MOCK. A nose guard is very useful for when you fall on your face while walking down the runway.
