Feed Me Friday: Fight Flab All Night Long

Here’s a fun weight-loss fact from The Skinny Rules denied fuel for more than five hours, your body will begin burning its own fat and sugar. So why not take advantage of this biological calorie burn by heading to bed on an empty stomach?

Nighttime is the easiest time to “fast”, so my Skinny Rule #18 is: GO TO BED HUNGRY!
Try any one of these options for creating a nighttime food deadline you can stick to:

  • Don’t eat 3 hours before bedtime.
  • Don’t eat after 8:00 p.m.
  • Don’t eat anything after dinner.

To pack your plate with protein at dinner, make fish! It’s lean, full of nutrients and easy to prepare. This is one of my favourites:

Wild Salmon with Lemon Herb Oil and Roasted Tomatoes
